wedding gown on dummyOn the day of your wedding, should your gown become stained, avoid rubbing the stain. Rather, blot gently, as rubbing can irrevocably damage the fabric. Do not attempt to remove the stain yourself – trust our years’ of experience to ensure the most successful outcome.

Although your dress may appear unblemished after the wedding, it is still very important to have it dry cleaned prior to storage. Stains such as perspiration might evaporate, but over time begin to alter the fabric.

wed and bridesmaid dressessLabels are important – they provide us with invaluable care instruction for your gown. If you remove the label for comfort’s sake, please keep it so that we may reference it before cleaning.

Plan to dry clean your gown as soon as possible after the wedding. This helps prevent untreated stains from becoming oxidized and increases the likelihood of successful cleaning. If you are planning an extended honeymoon, it is a good idea to arrange beforehand with a friend or relative to bring your gown in for treatment.
